Shining Tides: Mariel & Paul

Today we’re reliving all of Mariel & Paul’s beautiful wedding day moments. We had a great time capturing all their fun details and were also thankful that the weather cooperated. It was a great day to fly the drone and get some marvelous aerial shots.

Our day started with pre-ceremony coverage of Mariel at a private residence in Mattapoisett, MA. It was a great location to film all the getting ready shots of the bridal party. Our second shooter, was capturing all the groomsmen at a hotel in New Bedford, MA. It was time to head to the ceremony location, at Shining Tides, which would also be the place where formals and the reception would take place.

When we arrived at Shining Tides, it was time to film the first look. Mariel and Paul had it right on the beach with extraordinary views. Capturing this moment was a videographer’s dream. GREAT footage for their wedding videos. The ceremony was lovely and the backdrop was just perfect. Mariel’s smile was so contagious that we couldn’t help but be happy capturing their day.

As the sun started to set, we were able to get some breathtaking shots of the Mariel and Paul. It was just perfect! We continued our coverage of the cocktail hour and then moved onto the reception. The band was amazing and really got the party started.

Birch Wood Vineyards: Chelsea & Alec

September is one of our favorite months of the year to film weddings. The weather is not too hot and not too cold. Also the fall colors make for a beautiful background! Chelsea and Alec had a picture perfect wedding at the Birch Wood Vineyards in Derry, New Hampshire.

We started our pre-ceremony coverage at Chelsea’s house in Milford, New Hampshire. It was fun capturing all her getting ready moments with her bridesmaids crew. What a fun bunch of ladies! One of our favorite pre-ceremony moments was her heartfelt first look with her Father. It was such a great moment to capture on film and really made for some amazing footage for her trailer and cinematic highlight video. The groomsmen got ready at a hotel in downtown Manchester, New Hampshire. They were also a great group of guys and it was a total blast filming them all interact.

We continued our coverage of the happy couple and headed over to the ceremony location which was at Saint Anselm College. They had a beautiful ceremony and let’s just say it was hard to keep composed. Not a dry eye in the church. We continued the day with capturing amazing formals of the couple and family around the college campus. What an excellent location and really created some GREAT shots!

It was time to head to Birch Wood Vineyards for the lovely reception. We filmed more formal shots around the vineyard, which can we say came out beautifully. The evening kicked off with some hilarious bridal party introductions and reception formalities. We ended our night with capturing all of Chelsea and Alec’s family and friends dancing the night away.

Cheers to the happy couple! We thank you for having us be part of your wedding journey. It was an honor to film all our amazing moments.

The Bohlin: Meghan & Rob

We may start to sound a tad repetitive BUT we loved being part of Meghan and Rob’s wedding day. We started off the day with getting ready shots at a beautiful AirBnb located in Newport, RI. This town is just stunning and makes the perfect backdrop for a New England wedding.

The ceremony and reception were held at The Bohlin venue, which has breathtaking views of the ocean. An amazing couple and seaside views are a videographer’s dream! We were able to capture some picturesque shots of their formals and then it was time for Meghan to walk down the aisle. As Meghan and Rob were exchanging their vows, boats drifted back and forth in the harbor. It was really quite lovely and did we mention the view?!

During cocktail hour, we enjoyed capturing guests playing corn hole and conversing over tasty drinks and hors d’oeuvres. One of the best parts of the day, was filming formal shots during sunset. Not only did this create fantastic, stunning, footage but was a intimate moment for Meghan and Rob to remember forever.

We continued on with the night, by capturing all the fun and exciting details at the reception. It always puts a smile on our face to film the fun footage of the couple dancing with their family and friends. Be sure to relive Meghan and Rob’s seaside wedding day below!
