McElroy Weddings was founded on the belief that one of the happiest days of your life should be remembered for more than just 24 hours. We capture your wedding in all its beauty so you can relive the emotions, laughter, and love for years to come.
With a cinematic, photo-journalistic approach, we focus on authentic moments, allowing you to fully enjoy your day while we craft stunning, timeless footage. Building meaningful relationships with our couples is at the heart of what we do, creating a personal experience that feels as special as the day itself.
Our team has grown to include some of New England’s most talented cinematographers and an award-winning editing staff, all dedicated to transforming your wedding day into a film you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
In 2009, I launched McElroy Films, now known for both professional corporate productions and timeless wedding cinematography. Nearly 20 years into marriage, my wife and I have built this company side-by-side, grounded in core values like teamwork, trust, and genuine care for every film we create. As our two sons have grown, they’ve watched us pour our hearts into this craft, turning passion into a family legacy.
With my cinematic eye and Erika’s organizational skills behind the scenes throughout the process, we work seamlessly together to create wedding films that feel authentic, emotional, and beautifully timeless. Our approach to wedding videography is deeply rooted in my background in photojournalism. We believe in being unobtrusive, authentic, and present in the moment, capturing your day as it naturally unfolds, with all its emotion, beauty, and story.
At McElroy Weddings, every wedding is more than an event, it’s a story waiting to be told with heart, intention, and artistry.

As the President & Executive Producer of McElroy Weddings, Ben takes tremendous pride in his work and has over 10 years experience shooting and editing films and 8 years experience as a professional wedding cinematographer.
My passion for videography started at an early age, watching my dad capture our family memories with a VHS shoulder-mounted camera. From homemade movies with my siblings, to middle and high school video projects, to documenting our family travels around the world, storytelling through film has always been a part of who I am.
I went on to study Film Production at Full Sail University in Florida and later earned my business degree from UMass. My career began in Boston as a news photographer, freelancing for the Associated Press and other major outlets—earning awards and even front-page features for my visual work.

Greetings from the Bay State! I am Christ Genty, an acclaimed filmmaker and photographer inspired by life’s most captivating moments. Based in Massachusetts, my expertise lies in artfully documenting the splendor of love through wedding videography. My aesthetic is refined, my approach is intimate, and my passion is ceaseless. Each wedding is a unique narrative waiting to be told, and I delight in capturing every detail, both grand and subtle, as they unfold beautifully in front of my lens.
But my craft does not stop at weddings. In the quieter moments, I venture into the realm of portrait photography, where I seek to capture the nuanced beauty of the human spirit. I am also adept at music video production, lending my visual acumen to the dynamic, rhythmic world of music and performance. Regardless of the setting, my passion lies in capturing the essence of a moment. Those fleeting, seemingly ordinary instances when looked at closely, often reveal extraordinary stories. By immortalizing these in my work, I aim to capture not just images, but emotions, relationships, and the intimate interplay of light and life. It is my honor and pleasure to help you preserve these precious moments, transforming them into timeless memories that can be cherished forever.

Cooper is a purebred beagle from Orange, Massachusetts. He was born into a small beagle family on a western farm on June 26, 2016. The breeders didn’t think Cooper was going to make it past 2 weeks – being the runt of the litter. With many prayers, Cooper pushed through and surprised us all with his determination to survive.
On August 20, 2016 Cooper came home with the McElroy family and began his exciting journey as their family Pet. Cooper is a small, loving dog and enjoys spending time with his two human brothers Landon and Logan. You can find him doing puppy sprints in the yard and throughout the house. He loves to hunt squirrels and chase birds. But most of the time he’s an indoor office buddy and sleeps 20 hours out of the day. He’s also a huge fan of pepperonis, cheese, and pizza.
